The Department of Posts, Government of India has announced the India Post Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Recruitment 2026 with around 28,740 vacancies for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Branch Postmaster (BPM) and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) posts across the country. Eligible 10th-pass candidates can apply online at the official portal indiapostgdsonline.gov.in once the application link opens on 31 January 2026. Selection is based on a merit list prepared from Class 10 marks (no exam)

- Register Yourself
- Click on “Registration” and enter your mobile number, email ID, and basic details to get a Registration Number.
- Login to Portal
- Login using your Registration Number and OTP/Password.
- Fill Application Form
- Enter personal details, Class 10 education details, category, and state/post preference carefully.
- Upload Documents
- Upload passport-size photo and signature in the given format and size.
- Pay Fee & Submit Form
- Pay the application fee online, submit the form, and download/print the final application for future reference.
